I'm Home

I made it home today. Glad it's over. I have to have the Foley for couple of weeks. Will write more when I feel better. Right now I don't feel like a Princess.

Having your support made it easier.

I love my Sisters.

Many hugs.

Cess.

hI,
I almost had to have the foley taped to me leg when I came home on 10-19. the dr. said that the bladder gets lazy after being moved. i finally was able to void. i also had and still have nausea waves and i threw up on the second day and also that day the foley went back in. it came out on the 19th. also feel quite tired. it will take time to recover from my lavh.bso.
best wishes to you getting better each day. i go for my post-op 10-27.

home!

I'm sorry you aren't feeling like a princess yet and I hope you are feeling better soon! Take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, take short slow walks, rest, and enjoy your pampering!

I'm Home

Thank you all for your replies and kind words. I'm still feeling zapped. Taking deep breaths really helps. DD seems to have some resentment towards me. I guess she doesn't understand and/or she's still at the self-centered stage. DH got a little snappy with me. So, I'm still not feeling like a princess. Maybe I will one day. Right now I'm feeling like a burden. Well, I'll post my story and my feelings in another location at a later date.

Thanks again, Sisters.

Cess,
I had a foley for 19 days and I know how you feel. I am so sorry you had this complication. I took advantage of the pain pills! Yeah pain pills!
RUN to the hospital if it starts to hurt bad. I ran three times and each time was givin a new antibiotic. Pyridium helps for the bladder pain and I also used Lidocain gel on my urethra and I took Ditropan for smasms.
I am 6 weeks post op now and feeling pretty peachy. Please write soon. HUGS
