no discharge

Hi There,

I'm 4 1/2 weeks post surgery and a question just dawned on me. I have had virtually no vaginal discharge during this whole time! My surgery was done abdominally, so I'm suspecting that might help. But is it normal to not really have any? (There was a very small amount the couple of days in the hospital, but even that was extremely minimal).

I'd ask my surgeon, but unfortunately the after-care hasn't been that great (I would just get his assistant who seems to just take her best guess - not too reliable). I'm also booked to see him next week for a post-op exam, so I'll definitely ask more then.

Just wondering if any of you have any info on this.

I had a TAH on 6//4 and also had NO discharge. At my 4 week post-op the doctor said everything looked great and took me of ALL restrictions.

I had a TAH on 05/11 and had a little bleeding the first couple of days in the hospital. Other than that, I had no discharge at all.

I had a TAH on 6/4 and haven't had any spotting/discharge since the 2nd day at home. (day 6).

Had TAH on 4/23 and I have never had any bleeding, spotting or discharge since the surgery.

Same here, no discharge. Can't say I miss it!

Isn't it great? It will be five weeks tomorrow. Only in the last day or so have a seen a small spot which is most likely from dissolving stitches. I have worn lightdays my entire adult life it seems.....but not since surgery. Of course, with only a vaginal cuff, I'm not sure what would discharge...

No bleeding/discharge here, not even any stitches.

None for me either - the day of surgery I had a little bit, but none since. I'm now 3 weeks post op.

None for me at all. I went prepared to the hospital with my supply of pads and wore them for nothing. I had such bad bleeding for so long-it is weird not to bleed. I was 4 weeks yesterday-haven't even had any stiches pass.
