Too soon for work?

I had a TVAH on July 11th. I went back to work, an office job, 13 days after my surgery. I started with the intention of only going back part time, but I felt great! I ended up going back full time my first day. My husband and kids helped out a lot at home. I was very tired at the end of the day, but my strength has slowly come back. It's a hard decision to make of when to return to work and how many hours we should work. Listen to you body. All of us heal differently. I needed to get back to work mentally. I get very depressed sitting at home and try to do too much. Going back was the best decission for me. Do what works best for you and your body.

Too soon for work?

Changed my mind. My son's ride didn't show up and I had to get dressed and drive home from his school. He drove there. But I was in heavy morning traffic and I had to stomp on the brakes twice. I was in so much pain when I got home I decided, nope too soon. My mother drove my little one to school and then picked both boys up. I am taking tomorrow completely off! DH is home and he can do it all!!!! Thanks for the input about listening to your body. If I didn't have you guys for some guidance I probably would have gone in and really regretted it. So glad I am here.
