low back, ab cramps after sex post op

I'm 7 weeks post op. Hubby and I had intercourse finally the other day. He was very gentle, but now I'm having cramp like pains in my abdomen and lower back. Is this normal?

I was having that too.... I wasn't healed all the way, after 8 weeks... went to the Dr. Now I am waiting 2 more weeks, making it week 12. Hopefully I'm going to be healed finally!!

Yes, normal for most of us. As long as you do not bleed, it should subside with a little more time. I was not cleared until 12 weeks post op, and felt soreness and pain the first four or five times. Continue with gentleness and lubrication and it should get better.

Nope no bleeding! And the cramps nothing even close to the pain I was getting. Just kind of like cramps but also like working a muscle that hasn't been used for a bit. Thanks ladies! <3
