Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Repair work?
Been reading for about a week... since I got my TAH date for March 9. What is this 'repair work' that gets mentioned so frequently?
Do you know in advance or does your doctor just "fix stuff" while they are in there?!?
Please advise

Repair work?
Your doctor should have been discussing with you any possible problems and "fixes." If he hasn't discussed this with you, be sure to ask. You need to know what the doctor is planning so you can have an active role in deciding what will be best for you.

Repair work?
"Repair work" refers to correcting any other pelvic/abdominal problems - most often a cystocele (prolapsed bladder) and rectocele (prolapsed rectum).
