Back pain

I am very lucky. I am 5 days post-op from doing a partial (removing my uterus only) using the davinnci method, and doing really well, I no longer need any pain meds and I am moving great. The only problem that I seem to be having is some off and on back pain in the afternoon that gets worse at night, is this normal?

Could be from positioning from the surgery or napping in a funny position. Do you have a good chiropractor to check you out?

A lot of women feel back pain after their surgery. I certainly had it, but I have back problems anyway. However, it is so common there is a HS article about it. Back Pain after Hysterectomy. Hope it helps!

Glad ur healing is going well. Might try heating pad that's helped with my back discomfort and dr gave me a muscle relaxer I was miserable. Hope this helps. HUGS!!
