back home from TVH

Just wanted to let you ladies in waiting know that I did it and how it went. I checked in to the hospital on 03/06 got there at about 11:30am, was takin back to pre-op almost immediatly. It took about 2 hrs for all to get started but once they put the relaxing medicine in my iv I was gone. The next thing I remember was waking up in a lot of pain was instructed how to use morphine pump and went back to sleep immediatly. the rest of the night is a blur went off IV the next morning and left the hosp at about 3pm the next afternoon. Just 1 day in hosp. Other than some soreness and one bad day of soreness that was self induced I am feeling pretty good. Saw the Dr today for post-op check up and I am good to go until next check in 5 weeks. The waiting really is the worst part. Good luck to all you ladies in waiting see you on the other side.

Hi. Glad to hear you are home and recovering. Thanks for the encouraging words. My turn is 3-18 so my waiting is almost over . Thank goodness!!! I keep telling myself what all you wonderful sisters say "The waiting is the worst part, the waiting is the worst part." Best wishes to you.

Glad your surgery went well for you...

Now, remember to get lots of rest and drink lots of water and walking when u can....really helps with the gas if you have any!!

Remember... even though you feel good you are still a new princess and you must take it one day at a time...

Only have one time to heal properly!!!!
