TLH sleep issues

I had my surgery on the 10 th. My sleep has not been normal since , wake up every 1-2hrs, weird sometimes bad dreams. Is this all normal and will my sleep pattern get back to normal?

I had my surgery April 4 and am still awake. I sleep maybe 2 hours tops, no naps in the day. I've read similar stories on here, so guess it's normal. My brain is toast though, I need sleep!!Been taking melatonin, but hasn't worked yet. Took sleeping pills, got 3 hours of sleep, oh boy! I'm not keen on drugging myself for only 1 extra hour of sleep, ya know? ( I'd take them if they put me to sleep for several hours though.) I'm 8 days farther than you, so sorry if this depresses you!! lol

Mine surgery date was April 9 and feeling the same way. I don't need the pain meds anymore, the pain I have isn't constant it's that pulling burning ligament pain. But night time is very restless and no naps during the day. Just today I got up took a shower and ate breakfast and I am wiped out but I can't nap. Why do they tell us to take cat naps all day when we can't?

I'm glad to know its not jus me! I haven't taken any pain meds in 2 days. I try to nap off an on throughout the day, but most of the time no success. I have an appointment with my Ob/gyn on thursday, hope she can give me some advice. Thank you for replying!
