TMI About the big "O".....sorry
Hi Girls,
Ok. 2 1/2 months post op. Was cleared for intimate encounters at 7 weeks. Went well up until few weeks ago. Now, when "O" happens, awful pain just under incision line, bikini cut. Sharp, stings, just plain hurts. Why now, and perhaps have we been too rough and I have done something. I know it is muscles contracting, but should it be this painful after the fact, as it was not in the beginning? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Have a good one!
Shelley

TMI About the big "O".....sorry
Hi Shelley
I don't think it should be this painful "after the fact". If you have been a little rough it could be something muscular or maybe scar tissue that is pulling and causing your pain.
I would call and ask the dr about it. It isn't unusual to have some discomfort at this point, but it really should be getting better and not worse.
Let us know what you find out.

TMI About the big "O".....sorry
Just a thought, could it have been a different position causing problems? I had lap, not abdominal, but a friend told me if I have pain in the incision area during intercourse that a different position sometimes helps. I would still call the doc and ask, but thought I'd add my 2 cents worth.
