Re: What to do?

I am having almost the exact problem but don't have the answer. I have had barely a day without pain or bleeding, since the first of the year. My husband calls it my "perma-period". I finally sought help in April, after dealing with some of the symptoms for over a year. It continued to get worse each month. The doctor has diagnosed adenomyosis but says it is rare for that to cause the heavy, irregular bleeding. I had an endometrial ablation, which is suppose to help over 90% of women, on June 11th. I started another period on June 18th and the pain has been worse than ever. So much so, that I have had to take pain meds prescribed, after the ablation. I am also 38 and do not know what to do next. I have limited options because I have hypertension and can not do hormone therapy. Have your docs suggested anything other than hysterectomy? My gyn has left that as a last resort, although it appears that will be next. At this point, I am ready to do whatever it takes to get back to normal. I am having a hard time keeping up with my active family because of the fatigue I experience on a daily basis. Good luck!
