Is this normal (question for daughter-in-law)

MY daughter in law just told me that she has cramping and bloody discharge, she had her hysterectomy 7 months ago. she still has her overies. They told her she would no longer have periods.

Did she have her cervix removed? From what I have read it is still possible to have mini periods with cervix still in tact.If she has any new symptoms or concerns she should also f/u with her Dr.Better to be safe then sorry
