incision

Ok, I am sure this is my fault, but I am wondering what others have experienced.

I am 4 weeks post op, and my incision (belly button down) was all closed with a small pinhead type opening where my fold of fat is ( yes I admit I do have one of those) It was almost gone, and this week I ramped up the housework. Yesterday I cleaned and today I BRIEFLY ran the vacuum.

Now, the hole in the incision is about the size of a pencil eraser.

So, if I put neosporin on it with a band aid, will it close on its own?

Is this because I vacuumed?

I will go back to the couch if it will close. It doesn't smell, but burns a little like a cut.

Thanks!

Deb

Deb!! Don't you remember the HysterSister Motto...

No Vacuuming for as long as we can milk it!!

Seriously...Girl, please call your doctor. I know you are feeling better but can you imagine getting an infection that will only prolong your recupperation time! It isn't worth it!

Blessings to you!
