Thank you Thank You ! I felt prepared.

I would like to thank everyone who participated on this web site and help prepare me for my surgery. I thought I just had a grapefruit size fibroid tumor and a few smaller ones. but after the doctor got inside I had those plus 13 smaller ones and two the size of the dr fist, plus my ovaries were scared and cervix hard. I guess Iwas a mess. and did not realize it. I have to thank everyone who posted and tell those who are preparing to go through this that they need to listen to the advice of others. One thing that helped me a lot was to WALK, and WALK after surgery. It relieves the pain greatly. I know that you don't feel like moving but you just have to make your self. My surgery was Tuesday, 17, I was to be in the op room from 7:30 -9:30 but ended up being there until almost 11:00. I ended up with sleepy colon and had some trouble waking them up. But the WALKING helped and I probably would not have taken it serious if I had not seen so many on here advise it. I also would like to thank everyone who gave advice on what to take to the hospital. That was very helpful since I had never had any hospital stay. Thank you. Summer07

It sounds like your insides were having their own little thing going on. I am so glad that you are on your way to healing and hopefully feeling a little better from now on. I don't know what I would do without this site!
I am guessing you had abdominal hyster with all the extra stuff going on. But I am just curious.

Thank you Thank You ! I felt prepared.

I am glad that everything went well! Aren't you glad to have all those troubles behind you?

Now be sure to rest, rest, rest and pamper the

It surprised me too how much of a mess things were in there. I didn't know just how bad until I asked my dr for a copy of the pathology report at my 6-week ck up.

Hugs to you!
