Two weeks post hysterectomy - vagina feels swollen
2 weeks ago today I had a Dvth. All has been good. Today I have felt this strange sensation like my vagina feels swollen. Any of you felt this?

Yes I have. I saw my DR and he said the swelling is normal especially since we are up more and more. He recommended that I lay down with feet up throughout the day to relieve the pressure.

Yes, that feeling of a tampon stuck in the vagina started about week 3. Ice and resting helps. some will take a pad, wet and freeze it, then put it down there. I just sat on ice bag (a bag of frozen corn). The vagina was really traumatized and stretched, so it will take a while to re-coop.
