1 yr anniversary and feeling so much better

Today marks my first year hysterversary!!!! I can say it was a very difficult year due to post-op complications and the need for a RSO in November, but all is well now. I have not felt this good in years !!! I now have energy, I have lost 35 pounds, and best of all....I don't hurt any longer. The swelly belly made a return with the RSO, but it is starting to go down. I don't think I will ever have a flat stomach again due to all the abdominal surgeries (7), but I hope to be as near to flat as possible. Since the surgery, I have decided that I need to take time for myself and take care of me so I'm planning to join a health club ASAP.
I wanted to thank all of my hystersisters for the support that I have received this past year. The year would have been so much more difficult with you.
I wanted to let all of those who are recent post-ops that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Take time to heal correctly and to take care of yourself. You're worth the investment.

Best wishes and s,
Nancy
