Hysterectomy 4/15: Scared, nervous

Yay! Good for you! Do you happen to know what they will give you? I'd like to request some too! SO glad you can laugh at the C-section experience now!

Mine is Thursday, and I am feeling the same way. I am pretty sure my DH is sick of hearing me talk about it . Reading posts on the forum helps a ton, but as each recovery is so different still not too sure what to expect! Good luck and prayers that all goes well for you!

After my c section I was in hospital for 8 days...I still felt rough. My DH is also sick of hearing about it I'm sure...and the thought of no sex for 6 weeks sounds like a long time (even though I'm thinking I will be too sore to care!!). I'm also so not rushing this recovery...I just want to heal well...and I really hope the cut is a nice straight line. I have lost 35 lbs in the last 18 months...swelly belly sounds awful!!!

My thoughts are with you. My surgery is Wednesday, the 13th. I'm nervous and scared too. Everyone keeps telling me I'll be fine, but I won't feel better until I wake up. Best wishes to you!
