Dream or Nightmare??

Hi! In "real life" one of my co-workers was told by management awhile ago to "make your appointments in the evening" and it has become a joke between us.

This morning I woke up remembering my dream and just had to share with you all........

I dreamt that I went to the hospital in the evening, woke up with tubes hangin' outta me and I couldn't stand up straight and just shuffled across the floor. Yep, I went to work the next day....in my hospital gown and fuzzy slippers! Everyone treated me the same, like it was just another day, but did seem to require more from me, especially lifting heavy files, etc.! I was so upset I started to shake uncontrollably and the managing attorney screamed at me and told me to go home if I couldn't handle it. My parents were also in the dream and a lot younger than they are now. They were more concerned about a neighbor's kid than they were about me! I remember screaming at my mother...also remember how young she looked when I woke up... Everyone around me didn't think it was a big deal and life went on as normal for the people in my life.

Oh yea, I woke up with hives too! I thought I was pretty under control, but guess it's starting to bug me.

Well, at least I can chuckle about it now!

Have a great day, Ladies!

Dream or Nightmare??

It sounds to me like you're reacting to a great deal of stress. You might want to call your dr and let him/her know about it, especially if your hives don't go away or get worse.

I had some pretty weird dreams while I was still post op too. I guess it's our subconsious taking over and showing us what our fears are. I'm pretty sure that you would get noticed if you went to work with tubes hanging out

Dream or Nightmare??

You too, huh?

I've been having some really strange dreams too. When I get stressed out about life, I always dream about my Tour Guide days from college. (I was a WDW Tour Guide a long time ago, and loved being one.) The only difference in the dreams are that I'm no longer young and in college anymore -- I'm me NOW. I don't remember much of the dream, except that the focus was on having the "right" socks to wear with the costume. It was definitely one of my "stress" dreams. Really bizarre stuff.

In fact, I'm getting more stressed every day. I'll just be glad when it's over.
