4 days post hysterectomy: Am I having a hot flash?

Hello! I had Lavh and my left ovary removed on Tuesday. I keep getting a flush kind of feeling, mostly on my face, neck and upper torso. Is this a hot flash? Or is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks!

Sounds like a hot flash to me and hot weather tends to bring them on more often for me. The good part is that they come and go and never last long. Taking a cool shower often makes me feel better in the Summer months.

Get a little fan(s) if they are bothersome. Hopefully you remaining ovary will kick in soon so they will go away. Often foods will trigger them like caffeine or sugar. Going from a cold to hot/hot to cold room can trigger them.
