LAVH 6 days post op - body aches

I think although slow I think I'm recovering pretty normal. Sunday - Tuesday I only was taking Percocet in morning and at bedtime. Today I woke up feeling like I stretched something but thought it was stiffness from sleeping. But around noon I felt worse I took another pain pill and my stomach was rolling so I took a phenegran suposistory (spelling?) I fell asleep at 2 after feeling like i was going to have diarrhea but had nothing. I slept until 7 and I'm having body aches and stomach aches. I've been I'm bed most all day. Yesterday I ran a few short errands with husband. And had lunch but nothing strenuous.

Re: LAVH 6 days post op - body aches

Even though running a few errands and having lunch with hubby doesn't sound like much, 6 days post op it is a lot! I think you just overdid it yesterday. Personally, I didn't leave the house until 9 days post op and that was to go to the doctor's office.

I would say take it extra easy for the next few days; however, if it gets really painful then call your doctor. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

I hope you feel better soon!

I was the same as you, out doing things the first week. Every time I did, I ended up in bed for 24 hours after. I had my LAVH on Feb 19 and feel awesome. Take it easy and I hope you get to feeling better.
