New, Looking for support-Bleeding 23 days
Hi and welcome to Hyster Sisters!
Have you read the pull-down menus on the main page yet? www.hystersisters.com There is a lot of information on this site and those menus helped me answer questions and gather questions for me to ask my doctor.
Did you know we have a chat room? Please follow this link to learn more about chatting! https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/ann...?s=&forumid=23
Please change your surgery date in your profile as we want to make sure to have enough brownies and tea on the post-op side!
I have had those never ending periods. I started one on Thanksgiving day and didn't end it till almost New Years! Nice Christmas present huh? Pain from adeno as well as adhesions made my life awful...bleeding, pain, bleck...who wants that every day? Finally hubby came home from the war, and off to the doctor we went and went again. Then, I had my surgery and I will never regret this, ever! I'm almost at 3 months post-op and I can tell you that I feel better than I have in over 10 years!!

New, Looking for support-Bleeding 23 days
I am almost a year PO. I bled for 21 days when the doc finally told me to go on Aygestin(sp). I had severe cramps, huge clots, and flooding for a year. Years before that I had cramps, and my periods got closer and closer. Two weeks on and one week off! Finally, my new honey bear doc pulled out a calendar and picked D-Day for me, June 6. A year later I feel great with very few side effects. I was so enemic at one point that I had nosebleeds almost daily! Please, take care of yourself.
