2 Days and Counting

2 days to go...I have started my fasting and I have all my "things to do" for the surgery lined up in my bathroom. I have cleaned the front of house, gone grocery shopping, today I am making a "from scratch" Mexican supper for my married daughter, her hubby and my hubby. I can't eat it, but will have my cream soup instead.

Tomorrow I finish cleaning my "nest" and move my hubby into the guest room for a few days or weeks, ever how long it takes me to feel like sharing my bed again.

I am keeping busy so that I don't think. This has been my way of "coping" with worrisome things in my life. I will probably work myself into exhaustion by Tuesday.

I'm not worried yet. But I had to cancel my 14 Dec surgery because of my blood pressure, but the doc seems to have it under control and actually I feel better than I have in months.

Will be thinking of you, hope all goes well for you. You brought up a point, I never thought of,, the DH in another room!!. I am getting the house ready, food in, making meals to freeze ahead of time, and never thought about my comfort after I get home.
You sound calm, I am scared to death. Not of the surgery, but of the castle itself. Bad problems with the castle when I was a kid.
Come back to the pre-op board, and let us know how you are.
