How long did you use lube ?

Sometimes during sex you can get tiny abrasions and when the stuff with alcohol gets in it , it hurts. So this way it's a comfortable experience .

Yeah don't be worried, hard not to, just be slow and easy and do what's comfy. So you will continue to heal well, after release. Sure, we are learning as we go.

We used extra lubricant for about 2 weeks after we resumed relations. That was how long it took not to feel sore or irritated. The idea is to prevent any pulling or friction against tissues that are still not completely healed. Even if the stitches are gone, we can still be tender. My doctor reminded me to give it a rest for a day or two if I got sore. The extra lubricant helps prevent any abrasion of the tender tissue. She said it may not hurt or feel sore at the time, but the next day, I would know. She told me to use it for at least a couple weeks whether it felt like I needed it or not.

My dr said use for an additional 4 wks. They returned my call. I agree.

We use organic olive oil and it is amazing. I try to eat as organic as possible living in the country of the Midwest LOL So, I was all for this.
