Swelly belly question!

I had lap. surgery Wed. to remove my left ovary. My hysterectomy was in June 2005 and I don't remember my belly being this swollen. It even looks kinda yellowish and it's very swollen and hard. Anyone else experience this? What should I worry about and what is normal??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I have three incisions, one in my belly button, the left side of my stomach and my pelvic line. There is some bruising on the lower incision but my stomach looks awful. Any ideas? Is this normal??

I had LAVH on Oct. 26 to remove everything and I was black and blue from hip to hip and belly button all the way down to my bottom incision. I will be wk 3 on Wed. and my stomach seems to be almost back to normal as far as swelling goes. I had hard places that my dr. said were hematomas but they have gotten smaller as time passes. My dr. had a hard time getting everything cut through that way which I think accounted for the bruising. I have had 2 other laps. with no bruising and smaller incisions so I guess it just varies by how difficult it is to remove and the dr. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
