3.5 months out Total LAVH up and down but settling in

Im 3.5 months out.. lavh.. just in the last week have i removed the rubber band i had wrapped around my jean button for extra space.. i have some granulated tissue so I have had 4 silver nitrate treatments.. Itchy yes.. sore totally... but its better... i have to remind myself that its only been 3.5 months from MAJOR surgery... i hear the song rocking the beer gut and i think its about me..lol.. i found that wearing my waist cincher again for a few hours here and there helped with the swelling... aleve helped.. and walking... not over doing... the cincher really helps with walking up and down stairs and driving... wow didnt realize how driving pulls and your tummy... ahh the little things... I have started Cymbalta.. besides the surgery --life has decided to add stress.. go figure... i feel really good with this medication.. I use the Vivelle dot patch-- its amazing... no complaints with anything--hot flashes NONE-- personal life --all good... i find myslef still a lil nervous.. but once i get relaxed-- all good... I have zero regrets about my sugery.. i was terrified and scared of the aftermath... as usual.. its not as bad as i had it all ready to be in my head.. Im thinkin of going back to my zumba class next week... I think other than this added tissue thing which is not that uncommon.. things have been smooth... anxiety a lil raised but im an anxious person anyway... It's not been easy... You often feel totally alone.. Even if you have a supportive family YOU are the only one going through this... This site was often times my only support.. Often my only source of sanity., laughter.. And a place I could go with any ramblings of concerns, frustrations and a place I could escape to where I wasn't alone...
