Bleeing 2 weeks post op

I had the Da Vinci surgery Feb 14. I had little to no bleedding for the first 12 days. On the 12th night I had a very light brown/reddish but extremey horrible discharge...more liquid. I ws going for my post op visit the next morning so I just dealt with it. It was not a lot.

I went for my examine. She removed stitches and said all was good and asked if I wanted to return to work. She said that the discarge is just a PH balance and gave me a prescription.
She did check inside my vagina and it hurt and I felt it scratch.

I came home...about 4 hours later I felt "wet" an it did not feel right. I went to the bathroom and the pad I was wearing was completely full of bright red blood. There were some clumps and the bleeding did not stop for a couple minutes.
There was just a little more bright red blood the rest of the night but pretty much back to the brownish/red discharge. I used the presciption.

I did not call the Dr. I was scared and felt it was caused by what she had done. Not sure if it is coincidence or not.

Has anyone else expierenced this?

Re: Bleeing 2 weeks post op

The bleeding could have come from the stitch removal. If it has slowed down or stopped, it will probably be fine. If it continues, please call the doctor. I am at 7 weeks today, and have had a PH imbalance and had to use prescription meds also. The scratch feeling on the inside is normal after a vaginal check so early in your recovery.
I know that you don't want to call the doc, but if the bleeding continues....you really should call.
Hope things get better for you!

Re: Bleeing 2 weeks post op

Thank you. So far so good. Even just 1 use of the meds have helped the ph imbalance.
