LAVH Shoulder pain after laparoscopy

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with the shoulder and chest pain that comes with having laparoscopic surgery. (I know it's how the body re absorbs the gas used to inflate the abdomen) It feels like something heavy is sitting on my chest and shoulders. Oh yeah I am one day post op

I had the same thing after my LAVH try some gas x it really helped me! And also take your pain meds if you have them for a day or so. Mine lasted about a week or so. Best of luck to you!

Gas X & try a heating pad over the shoulder & chest area. It will get better
