Am I overdoing it?

Last night my incision started bleeding some. I have glue. No staples. I also have more vaginal bleeding now than in the beginning. Is the incision bleeding normal?

Am I overdoing it?

I had staples and my incision was completely closed at one week after my surgery.

Please call your doctor's office. It's best to get it checked - to rule out infection or any other problem. It's also good to get the incision re-sealed to make sure that it heals properly.

heal

As I have read here many times from other sisters, we have one time to heal correctly. Please be careful and ck with your doc if you think something might be wrong. You can never be too careful and it is your body, you are in charge. Do not over do it, relax and pamper yourself.

Am I overdoing it?

My incision did spot bleed for over 2 wks. I had stitches out on the 8th day. My incision is large (17"). My PS said it is part of the healing process. My skin is thin and he said the healing is just closer to the surface so the dissolvable sutures could come to the surface instead of dissolving. One did pop out! It freaked me out.
Rubbing from your clothes may also make you bleed some.

Check with your Dr . . .you will feel better.

Am I overdoing it?

Kcol0611: Please call your doctor. In conjunction with the TAH, I had a tummy tuck. I have an incision that wraps around from hip to hip and I never had any bleeding. Please have this checked out. Keep us posted. Hope your ok.

Am I overdoing it?

I went to the doctor today for my one week check up and she said it was probably a blood vessel. She wasn't too concerned. Thanks for all the advice.
