Leaving for the castle in the morning can't sleep

I can't sleep,I'm finished with all my prep have my bag packed and everything else ready.I'm starving.I know I need to get some rest but I'm really nervous.Nervous about the surgery and nervous that for some reason it will be cancelled.Heather

Hang in there! The wait really was the worst. The first 36 hours after are tough but it gets better from there.

The worst thing post op is the 1st time they get you up. Try to remember when that it happening, that that is the worst. Maybe it sounds crazy but it helped me. Kind of a ok next time will be a little easier.

The biggest help immediately Post-Op was that my Dr, at my request, had noted Toradol upon request. I had my pain pump and Toradol is an anti-inflammatory. I think it did has much as my pain pump. Only thing that is spooky 1st injection is it stings a little going in (1st 20 seconds tops).

I haven't slept well this week either. I'm nervous and anxious and have been cleaning the house like crazy!

Soon enough you are going to be able to get lots of sleep...
You most likely have already left but if not, know that plenty of thoughts and good wishes are going with you. And we are so looking foward to having you come back and let us know how you are - even though we know you will be fantastic and glad it is all behind you.
