Water Pills?
Hi, just wondering if anyones Dr. prescribed them water pills after there hysterectomy? My husband works with a guy that asked if I was on water pills...The guy said that after his wife had a hysterectomy the Dr gave her water pills...Didnt no if this surgery made us retain water and wondered what the water pills would have been for...

Hm, I've never heard of anyone being prescribed water pills after a hysterectomy. I certainly wasn't.

Water Pills?
i was put on lasix. it is a pill to help w/ water retension. i was huge! my catheter was not working properly, and they filled me up w/ saline. i weigh about 118 pounds. i left the hospital at 138. i wondered if my skin would tear, i took it for ten days, and i was back to normal. wierd though!

Water Pills?
Hi Ladies, I take a water pill also. I have always taken water pills. I recently switched from Lasix to Maxcide. Drinking lots of water will help with the puffiness as well.
