Brown discharge after bowel movements after hysterectomy
So, I had my hysterectomy A little over 2 weeks ago. They took everything but my ovaries. I haven't had any bleeding at all, but I have had a little brown discharge but only if I have a Bowel movement. Has anyone else experienced this? Sorry if it's TMI... Thanks.

Is the brown discharge coming from your vagina or your rectum? If vagina, you might be passing stitches. If rectum, it might be rectal mucus.

Then I'm guessing either you're passing stitches or just some old, dried blood. Either would be normal at this point. :-)
