HRT and weight gain?

Hello

New to the boards.
I had the good old uterus removed last year7/02.
I will be going back in next Wednesday for the those nasty ovaries.
I am pretty sure i will be going the natural alternative way.
One reason is the concern of weight gain with HRT.
Any one out there got advice on the weight gain fear?

Welcome to this site. I am taking hrt and have noticed a little fluid retention, but nothing major, maybe a pound or two. I still exercise like I did before surgery so that helps.

I'm taking 1 mg estradiol (estrace) / day. I haven't noticed any weight gain or fluid retention.

Everyone is different and responds differently though. If you do have any, it may mean that you need to have your HRT *tweaked*.
