Want book and movie suggestions

As an avid reader and movie watcher I thought I would add my favorites.

BOOKS
In the fiction genre I loooove Nora Roberts (writing as J.D. Robb) In Death mystery series. It is set in 2059 and features Eve as a female homicide detective married to the yummy and rich Roarke so there is action/suspense and married sex. A total package in my estimation. I also loved all of Elizabeth Berg's books and Janet Evanovich. I am also a fan of Mrs. Pollifax and recommend them for fun reading.

In the non-fiction category I recommend Sark (author) for colorful and fun books that teach women how to nurture themselves creatively. I also love Women Who Run With Wolves and Gift From the Sea - both books to celebrate growing older and celebrating womanhood. I also have been greatly inspired by Don MIguel Ruiz's small books especially The Four Agreements and find that this time of change in my life is a good time to renew these four agreements. I also find that when I am facing a change in my life I like to reach for familiar things like books I grew up with. Books like Winnie the Pooh, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Island of the Blue Dolphin, Little Women, Dr. Seuss and the Xanth series by Piers Anthony.

MOVIES
I like romantic comedies and action movies so my recommendations are True Lies, French Kiss, You've Got Mail, Miss Congeniality, The American President, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, the James Bond series, Shrek and Shrek 2, Six Days Seven Nights, What Women Want, Sleepless in Seattle, Erin Brokovich, Notting Hill and The Thomas Crown Affair.
