What happens if you forget your HRT patch?

Just wondering what happens if you forget to put the hrt patch on for a couple of days? Does this mess up your system and what are the effects it has on you? I just remembered that I did not put one on the other day oooops! Is this a big deal?

You might have a hot flash or some other meonpausal symptom, but it shouldn't mess up your system. I use Climara 0.0375 mg and according to the instructions with the packet, if you forget to take your patch replace the new one with the old one and then remove the patch at the normal scheduled time. For instance, I replace my patch on Mondays; if I forget and I don't change it until Wednesday, I will need to change my patch the following Monday. I hope that wasn't too confusing. :confuse: I am getting better about remembering my patch now because I don't want to do without it.
