Hysterectomy: December 4th, 2007

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Removed both

Airborne and Zicam for colds

I've seen lots of posts about people who are sick! Right before my surgery I got a bad cold. I drank Airborne and used Zicam nasal spray. I can't believe how well they worked! If any of you feel lousy before the holidays it is worth a try. Also, I would never hesitate to call the doctor, even though it is the holiday weekend.

Agreed! I used Airborne to keep from getting a cold just after surgery because the thought of sneezing constantly was just too scary.
