Having ovaries removed soon after hysterectomy

I had an Abdominal hysterectomy October 20, 2014. Dr left both ovaries. Now I've had several cyst burst in the last few weeks. With bleeding and severe pain. It's looking like I'm about to have my ovaries removed. Has anyone gone thru this? Any advice?

My hyst was in april, having both ovaries removed on wed. This makes 4 surgeries this year. Last one was much easier recovery, and hoping this will be too so close to Christmas. But getting everything done ahead of time so i dont overstress. Very worried about menopause, there are several forums here dedicated to menopause, surgical or not, and hrt or not. I encourage you to check it out if you have concerns there. My dr assures me that while this many surgeries may slow down my healing and recovery, it should nit be a problem otherwise. Also, check out separate surgeries forum for a few threads on oopherectomy. Pain is my problem also, and the adhesive disease i had removed in sept is back with a vengeance. Best wishes to you!!
