I am in the same boat as you. Self supporting with my 4yr old boy, and no sick pay! I am having a TAH/BSO...I know that I will need AT LEAST 3 weeks to recover...but it scares the crap out of me financially! Luckily I live in Canada and I can get the retro back pay from the benefits I apply for and my insurance does cover some, but I just dont know if i can wait that long. So on top of worrying about my health and child and recovery Lol I'm worried sick about keeping on top of things financially! Lovely isnt it? Lol

I will have alot of help from my mother and friends to watch my son and take him to kindergarden, but its just stressing me out big time!
