Stitches

Has anyone passed stitches vaginally? I had a SAH in Sept 07 and have had complications ever since. I have had several CT scans, MRI's, ultra sounds, another surgery - cold knife conization, cervical biopsy under anesthesia in the hospital. and then 6 weeks ago they removed my cervix vaginally (trachelectomy). At my 2 week check up I asked the doctor if I would pass any stitches and he said no. Well the other day I passed a ball of stitches about the size of a marble. I have a call into the doctor but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I could understand 2 or 3 but this was alot. Thanks for any info.

Stitches

Oh you have been through the mill. Sorry to hear that. At 2 weeks, I started to bleed quite a bit more and passed several clots (about the size of a nickel). I don't know if they were stitches or not but the Dr. had warned me I might see some about that time.

I'm glad you've called the Dr. How do you feel?
