Where/What do your ovaries attach??

I had an LSH leaving both ovaries. I have looked on the internet to try to find out where they end up ? stay? Are the attached to something or just floating in there now?

Sorry if this is a dumb question... just can't find any info out there.

i asked my doc this question. He says they don't float around and are connected to a blood supply. He smiled a bit when I asked if they float around

There are also ligaments next to the blood supply that keep them in place as well. The internet is a wonderful place as it yields all kinds of answers.
