Hysterectomy: July 19th, 2011
Surgery Type: TVH
Ovaries: Removed both
Lower back pain

I had a TVH, BSO, and bladder lift on 7/19/11. My lower back is killing me! Makes it very hard to sleep. Waking up all night with the pain. Is anyone else having this problem? Came home with the catheter. Have to leave in until Monday.

Yes I have lower back pain too. I had it before my TAH, then it totally went for about 2 weeks, and since stepping up activity its been getting worse each day. I am 7 weeks post op now and went to my chiropractor yesterday who gave me some stretches for it. I am hoping that the fact that the back pain disappeared for a few weeks means that once my muscles loosen up that the back pain will go. Do you feel as if the muscles are really tight?
