Anybody else getting stuck lying down or reclining?

I'll just say I'm glad I don't live alone. I've gotten myself into relaxing reclining, resting positions, and then found myself unable to pull myself back up into a sitting position. I was either on the couch or in a bed at the time, and I'd have to call for someone to help me up. Usually I can bend my leg, wrap my hand around my knee, and pull myself up with my leg, but sometimes can't move at all.

Just a warning to all.

This happens to me all the time! I had dd move two of the dining room chairs into the living room to act as extra support for getting up on my own during the day. Our house is in shambles...O-well!

I have had that issue lots of times after my abdominal surgeries...it's the most helpless feeling!!! I have found it works to roll on your side(right works better for me)and push off the bed or sofa with your hand and sling your legs down and bend...it's amazing what we go through!!!!
