HRT Before & After Hysterectomy but now menopause symptoms?

I was wondering if it is normal to have menopause symptoms post total hysterectomy if I was taking HRT replacement for 7 years before and still using it after. 2 1/2 weeks post op.

You're probably noticing symptoms now because your hormone therapy was adequate while you had functioning ovaries. Now that your ovaries have been removed, you aren't benefiting from the amount of hormones your ovaries produced. It's something to discuss with your doctor at a followup appointment. Chances are a bump in dose will take care of the symptoms if they persist.
