Pain and temp am i being a sook?

I had my surgery 1st March 2012,and tried going back to work Monday and Tuesday this week (that didn't turn out too well). I had a fall two weeks ago and didn't think anything of it and didn't mention it to surgeon on 2 week visit. It is now over a month since the surgery and I have had pain for the last two weeks on and off with a full feeling in my VJ, there has also been a dark yellow to light brown discharge. I've seen my GP twice since 25th March first time she said it was just settling pain and continue to take paracetamol, second time (Wed) found blood in urine though no UTI or bladder infection indicated, also took swab for path and because of fever has put me onto antibiotics and Endone (this has helped pain some). I am still very sore in tummy, upper and lower, breasts are killing me, discharge, aching in all over, hot and sweaty then cold on and off and VJ still feels like there is something in there.

Am I just being a sook? I don't want to call my surgeon and sound like an idiot.

Please help.

Re: Pain and temp am i being a sook?

Personally I think I would call your surgeon. It may be nothing but he needs to know about the problems you are having.
That being said, I had the feeling for many months after my surgery that I had for lack of better description, something stuffed in my vagina. It did however go away but it took almost 8 months though. Now 21 months later I do not have that feeling. But def. give your Dr. a call. Let us know how everything turns out.

Re: Pain and temp am i being a sook?

Hi countryliving45,

Thank you so much for answering. That's exactly how it feels! What worries me is I didn't have this feeling until about 5-6 days after my fall (stupid I know). Anyway we have a 4 day long weekend here in Oz so won't be able to call Dr until he comes back on Tuesday. I have just kept really quiet and still last two days and unless I move the pain isn't too bad so should be fine until then.

Thank you for your reply and help.

Kind Regards
Michele
