still feel like crud, a little over 3 weeks post-op anyone else?

We are all so different, and come from such different places it is really hard to compare. You said you were ill before you had your surgery, I'm sure that will make your recovery more difficult as your body was already fighting something off. Age, weight, physical fitness, diet all play into our healing. I also think it is important to listen to our bodies and the checkpoints. We do only have one shot at healing correctly. It is important not to overdue it for at least a month or so. I will be 4 weeks tomorrow and it has truly gotten better everyday, with last week being a turning point for me. I can now sit up comfortably - but I still can't sleep on my stomache It has helped that I have a doting husband and 3 doting kids and a wonderful support group through my church. I don't know that everyone has that. But do try and relax and your body will heal.
