Open your computer and place what you want said in a word doc. You will make changes periodically. Once you feel you have "fine tuned" it. You may want to see a local doc to find out what future complications this may bring on, or to state what you are experiencing now due to this error.
Be sure to send it to the hospiital board, and the doctor. And keep a copy for yourself. I had a bad experience with a nurse, it was so bad I told her not to come back in my room I'd clean my own vomit
She was mad cause I kept throwing up. Anyway, I did not want anyone else to experience what I did, so I made it clear to her, and her supervisor that her bedside manner.
Bottom line you need to let them know, but first and foremost you need to get better
