What are you planning to do during your recovery?

I am in my 6th week of post -op and 2 more weeks before I go back to work. My kids (bless thier heart) got me a nintendo DS and some games for it. I love that thing. If I am not spending time with them or on this site, that is what I am doing.

I hope to design and make lots of new jewelry!

What great timing -- I've got the Olymics to watch along with the women's network stuff, maybe doing some reading but that usually puts me to sleep and spending quality time with my pup, Megs. And of course, napping whenever I feel like it as well as walks!

I am planning on sleeping, watching movies, reading books, and crocheting a couple of scarfs, maybe an afghan. Also....sorting out some photos. Nothing more. Oh....and walking

My plan it to watch movies and work on a puzzle (not sure if I will be able to do that one). I need the rest; some way to take a vacation

I figured I was superwoman soooo I folded 3 loads of laundry on DAY 5! Then I felt like crap for a few days and realized HELLO? I just had surgery. So - realistically I have been watching the Olympics and really weird old movies, the complete collection of Anne of Green Gables , and TLC.
I've read a bunch of books, it was exhausting going to the library though. Planning on playing board games with the kids each day this week.

I plan to read a lot -- some for pleasure, some for work. I have 3 courses I'm teaching for my company starting in September, so I'll be doing a lot of review of the coursework. But I'll also be getting a good dose of murder mysteries in, too.

A friend of mine burned 44 movies for me, from her collection, so between that and netflix, I'll have plenty to watch.

I'll have to add Anne of Green Gables to my list too, that is one of my all time favorites, and I'll have to pull out the books to read also. Thanks for that reminder of those movies. I also have about 10 VHS tapes of the Road to Avonlea series too.

i had all the intentions of pampering myself and reading loads of books, even bought a cd rom to learn spanish..cant work the cd,have'nt read a book and the pampering went out the window, my dog [white adoreable boxer] thinks i have cracked,shes never seen me sit down for so long,[ reading and writing to yous ladies,] is'ent it just great !! partner curious, but never asks.xx

movies, crafty projects, tie blankets (christmas gifts, they are fun and simple), reading, hopefully my family and friends will get me my Starbucks white chocolate Mocha once a day until I can drive!
