The pro side of being anemic....(a laugh)

Morning all

Guess my "nutty" side is taking over today!

I just went to put on a sweater as "I" find it chilly...lol
Then got to thinking of all the "funnies" of being anemic!

1)weather being too hot doesn't seem to be an issue
2)taking naps is expected
3)people are always offering to drive you places
4)being too tired to do something...(housework) is ok
5)friends show up at your door with liver for lunch...lol
6)One of the best....Friends come by to check up on you-Then
make and serve the coffee

If anyone knows some more feel free to add...making light of things sometimes makes the "ugh" of it, not so bad!

You are right, there are a few benifits to being anemic...

It has gotten me out of work on time, I was too tired to stay behond that!

I no longer have to say "not tonight honey, I have a headache". Am usually asleep before it can be said!!!

I have caught up on my reading... with anemia, comes Iron Pills, with Iron Pills comes LOTS of time in the bathroom!!!

When You're Anemic, You Can...

...revive the great Jackie Kennedy look of dress gloves, even in the summer.

...buy the palest Ivory foundation at the makeup counter and never have to worry that it's too light for your skin.

...nap just about anywhere, including a moving vehicle. Just be sure you're not the one driving at the time!

...get away with not watching the bang-bang-shoot-em-up movies on your new home theatre with the Hubby. Just get comfy on the couch and you'll be snoozin' before the first gun gets fired.

...save on the air conditioning bill in the summer time.

You girls crack me up!!! Just when I am down about this whole hyst thing- You always come through. Thanks!! I have been anemic for years and I have to say that the best thing has to be the never being hot deal. We were in Florida in March and I had on sweats!!!! Everyone else was shocked- I loved it!!!!!!
