Post Op Problems 5 months

My surgery was 9/21/05, vaginal hyst with lapro asst, I had some granulation last novemeber. They did the silver nitrate and it went away. Tonight my husband and I had sex and I have a lot of pink discharge immediatly afterwards and so far for a few hours. It isnt bright red so I havent called the doc office but will in the morning. I am wonder if this is more granulation or what else it could be. I also have had no desire for sex since my op. Absoultly none. I also feel lke I have changed alot about differnt things in my life, and my husband has noticed and is suffering from the changes in me. I had one ovary removed 2 years before the Hyst and I still have the other one. I have never had children.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

As long as your discharge is pinkish in color, you are probably okay. It can take quite some time to completely heal, and sex can aggrevate any healing and cause discharge. I would call the dr in the morning and make sure you are fine.

You can also talk to your dr about your lack of libido. You may need your hormone levels checked. And your dr may have some suggests to help you.
