Re: lupron injection effects

I had a headache off and on for almost 2 weeks after I got my shot (3 month depot) and felt a little run down for about a week. After that the hot flashes started. I did not have the red face, sweating buckets hot flashes (thank goodness), but I did get hot. After a couple weeks I felt more like myself.

Re: lupron injection effects

I think about a couple of weeks. I just had my second 3 month shot done on Friday. That one was no problem the first one I think I had issues for a couple of weeks but have done great on it since then. I have been pain free for over two months so it has been a life saver. I had a few mood issues the first couple of weeks but that let up soon after and I never had any hot flashes so I was lucky there.

Re: lupron injection effects

I'm doing better with nausea, but the pain has increased a lot, my Dr prescribed hydrocodone to help, and it does, but only for a few hours at a time. No hot flashes, just pain from lower left abdomen where I feel the fibroid and shoots down to my leg.

Re: lupron injection effects

Had my first dose yesterday. The 3 month shot. One of the least painful injections ever. Still waiting for any side effects. My doctor said I might not notice anything at all for up to 2 weeks. We'll see. The clock is ticking. And there's no going back.
