Pain in odd places...

I'm new here! This is totally embarrassing but here goes! I am 6 days post op. I had my uterus removed and left my ovaries. Ever since I got home when I have a bowel movement I have a stabbing pain in my rectum. It really hurts when I am " straining" when I am going. I can't believe I am asking this question!!! But wondered if anyone else has had this problem??? Help??

Hmmm could it be because of how tightly you are stitched? I don't know but you could call and ask your dr?

I had this issue for years pre-op, particularly because of endometriosis. I would call your doctor to be sure, but they move a lot of stuff around down there. It could just be bruised? Not really sure. I just know I had it for years and it was really uncomfortable.

I had my surgery (removed uterus and tubes) on Sep.3rd. I had the same problem for the first couple of weeks. The doctor did not seem concerned when I told him about it. I am now 20 days out and I am not having any issues anymore. Hopefully you will feel better soon!
