Very Disappointed!!

Well, I had my surgery postponed as my ob/gyn didn't want to change venues. If I had surgery at one hospital, my co pay would be $5700. If I had it seven miles away, total co pay $1500.

My ob/gyn has priv. at both hospitals, but didn't want to go to the other hospital, so asap, I am going to a new ob/gyn. Sheesh!!! I was finally ready to face this, and now have no idea when I will be scheduled!

I never even thought to look at what my Insurance would pay. I was told I needed a hysterectomy on a Monday and I was in surgery that Friday. It's been 5 days now, I'm just waiting for the bills to start rolling in. I had the DaVinci procedure as well.

The difference was so huge that I just couldn't justify it. I have an appointment with another ob/gyn Monday and hopefully an easier road this time!!

I got my information from my doctor about my copay so I will have to take care of that before my surgery. Glad they sent it ahead of time.

Choose your Dr. wisely, check for good references, dont just pick one so you can get this done quickly. I have heard too many horror stories of bad Dr.'s. Do your research please, wishing you the best.
